A ministry of DeoLink

For fifty years we've reached people with whatever tool worked best.  Today that tool is AI.

A website search bar returns a list of pages and hopes the visitor digs. Your assistant returns the answer — in the words your pastor actually used.

AskOurChurch is built by DeoLink — an interdenominational, Bible-based ministry that has been sharing the Gospel since 1975, beginning in Poland in the difficult days of communism. For five decades we’ve done one thing consistently: find the most effective way to connect people with Jesus, and keep improving it.

That instinct has looked very different across the years. Typewriters and carbon paper for mail-order Bible courses — sixty thousand pages of them. Audio cassettes. A recording studio in the mountains. An FM radio network. Then digital platforms, and in 2014 our own discipleship software. Today it means AI — and the same instinct that fed pages through a typewriter in 1977 is what built AskOurChurch.

So we didn’t spot a market and build a product for it. We needed our own teaching to be findable for the work we already do — built the engine, used it ourselves, and only then opened it to other churches. In a space where trusting an AI with your theology is the hardest part, being a fifty-year ministry rather than a tech startup isn’t a marketing line. It’s simply who we are.

A not-for-profit Christian association based in Wisła, Poland. AskOurChurch runs on Compendi, DeoLink's knowledge engine.

Your content only

Answers come from your teaching — never the open internet. When the archive can’t answer, it says so rather than guessing.

Used before it was sold

We didn’t build this to sell and then look for users. We built it for our own ministry work, ran it ourselves, and only then opened it to other churches.

Built for ministry

We made this for the work of the church, not for a quarterly target. That shapes every decision — including the ones we choose not to make.

Fifty years of the same instinct

The tools change. The mission doesn't.

Every era has its best way to reach people. We’ve never been precious about which one —

only about the people on the other end of it.
