Careful Stewardship You Can Trust

The Giving Collaboration Fund exists to launch and strengthen Giving Collaborations across Europe — and to amplify the generosity already present within them.
It does not replace local generosity. It strengthens it, multiplies it, and helps it grow.

When the Fund matches what a local community has already discerned and given together, a contribution from one international partner can double the collective impact on the ground. This is the multiplication that happens when trust, discernment, and generosity work together.

Matching funds do more than increase giving — they encourage local givers to step forward. When communities see their gifts matched and honoured, generosity grows not only in scale, but in depth.

Giving Collaborations are local communities of Christian givers who gather regularly to learn, discern, and give together.

At least once a year, each community hosts a Marketplace event — a gathering where carefully vetted local ministries and projects are presented to the group.

At each Marketplace:

  • Projects are reviewed and vetted by a local steering team
  • Each giver decides independently which projects to support and how much to give
  • The Fund then matches the community’s collective giving to multiply what they have already discerned together

Matching and allocation

The Fund’s steering committee determines matching levels based on the anticipated giving capacity of each community. Matching never exceeds local giving — a design that keeps communities healthy and growth sustainable.

Governance and oversight

An experienced steering committee oversees allocation, manages undesignated gifts, and ensures that every contribution is stewarded with care and due diligence.

Practical Details

Fund mechanism

The Fund operates as an EGCC initiative through a secure giving platform that supports multi-currency contributions, responsible holding and stewardship of charitable assets, and tax deductibility for eligible donors.

Designation options

Partners may direct their contribution toward a specific country or region, and choose whether it serves matching grants, growth support, or both. Undesignated gifts are stewarded carefully and deployed where they can best support the growth of Giving Collaborations.

Eligibility

Grants are available exclusively to Giving Collaborations within the EGCC network. Each community signs a Memorandum of Understanding and commits to hosting at least one Marketplace event annually.

Reporting and relationship

Partners receive regular impact updates and are welcome to connect directly with the Giving Collaborations and ministries their gifts support.
